Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ Competition…Record entries, large turnout highlight qualifying round
Guinness Brand Manager Lee Baptiste, who was among the large crowd that witnessed the qualifying round to select the sixteen teams that will join the automatic qualifiers, watched in disbelief at the record number of 
entries in this year’s Georgetown Zone segment.
Played at California Square in East Ruimveldt, over eighty (80) teams from various wards in Georgetown entered the qualifying round in what was another emphatic demonstration of the event’s increasing popularity among players and fans.
Twenty-seven matches were played Friday evening and the results are seen below:
