A 25-year-old cross-dresser is to be deported from Suriname after being accused of robbing a man.
According to Loop Suriname online news, on Tuesday evening, a man reported to the police that he was robbed by the Guyanese transvestite, Stephan B.
According to the police, the two men were engaged in an arrangement, but Stephan B. subsequently robbed him of cash.
The police arrested the Guyanese man, who denied the offence. However, the stolen money was found on him and handed over to the injured victim.
Further investigation shows that the accused was illegal in Suriname. He was held and is expected to be sent back to Guyana.
