Team Mohamed’s are looking to better their track record at the South Dakota Circuit which they set in 2016 when the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMRSC) hosts the final leg of the Caribbean Motor Racing
Championships (CMRSC) on Saturday & Sunday, November 11-12 at the South Dakota Circuit.
Mohamed’s racing, which revs strictly in the superbike class in the CMRSC, are well on their way to championship honours following the final leg in Guyana after blowing away the competition in the three completed legs, competed in Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica. Not only did they make light work of opposition but also the tracks after setting lap records at each of those circuits.
Team Mohamed’s biker, Bryce Prince set those lap records in which he recorded 1 minute 1 second in Barbados, 41seconds in Trinidad & Tobago and 1 minute 15 seconds in Jamaica. Meanwhile, Prince’s teammate, Matt Truelove, recorded an incredible 33.3 seconds at Guyana’s South Dakota Circuit, the overall track record at the Timehri route.
Owner of Team Mohamed’s, Azruddin Mohamed, stated to Kaieteur Sport that he believes that his three Yamaha R6 motorcycles are virtually unbeatable and his team’s only opposition is their track record at South Dakota that they are gunning to crack again.
