Top notch softball cricket action is slated for the West Coast Berbice on Sunday at the Cotton Tree Diehard Cricket Ground. The occasion will see four of Guyana top softball teams assembling for a grand day of softball cricket.
The teams listed to participate are Albion Masters, Floodlight Masters, Mike’s Pharmacy Wellman Masters and the host West Coast Berbice Masters.
Action is scheduled to get going from 10:00hrs with the first semi-final game. The teams are expected to draw to see who they will play in the semi-final encounters with the winners going on to clash in the grand finale.
Apart from the cricket action which is expected to take centre stage, there are expected to be a hoard of activities on the day. There will also be trampoline and bouncy castle for the children and other entertainment for the entire family.
Admission is free and the public is encouraged to come out and support the activity.
A number of sponsors are on board so far including Trophy Stall, Raymond and Ashraf Mustapha Woodworking , Permaul’s Trading of Albion , A and A General Store of Rosignol, Imran Saccoor , Leah’s Online Shopping, Tage Singh Import and Export, Romell Jagroop Construction Service and Rosignol Shopping Mall among others.
