Two men have confessed to robbing and murdering 89-year-old Constance Fraser and 77-year-old Phyllis Caesar, whose bound and gagged bodies were found on Tuesday in their Lot 243 Albert Street and South Road residence.
Police are said to have recovered valuables that were taken from the slain women’s residence. The suspects have reportedly given a detailed account on how they carried out the act.
Two others suspects, including the girlfriend of the alleged mastermind, have been detained.
Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh, who carried out the postmortems today, gave the cause of death as asphyxiation, compounded by blunt trauma to the head.
