Golden Stars, on account of three goals each from Shawn Adonis and Dextroy Culpepper totally outplayed Bachelor’s Adventure Paradise Sports Club to win 10-0, the lone contested match when play in the GFF/NAMILCO Thunderbolt Flour Power National Under-17 Intra Association League continued at the Golden Grove ground, East Cost Demerara on Saturday last.
The other match that was scheduled between Buxton Stars and Buxton Youth Developers saw the former gaining full points via the walk over route as the latter failed to turn up.
The win for Buxton Stars was their second in 10-matcxhes, while the loss for Buxton Youth Developers was their eight of the league which is in the second round.
Golden Stars were unstoppable in recording their fifth win which saw them overtaking their defeated foe, Bachelors Adventure Paradise for 4th place on the points table on a better goal difference.
The 10-0 win for golden Stars was designed by hat-trick performances from Dextroy Culpepper who was on target in the 15th, 20th and 35th minute.
Shawn Adonis blasted his three in the 50th, 85th and 87th minute.
Colin Seymour contributed a double (30 & 89), while there was one apiece for Tyrese James in the 64th minute and Martin McCully from the penalty spot in the 70th minute.
