Good Success beat Maria’s Pleasure by 29 runs as V Net T20 Blast continues
Defending Champions Good Success defeated Maria’s Pleasure by 29 runs when play in the 
V Net T20 Blast continued on Sunday last in Wakenaam.
Batting first at the Wakenaam Community Centre ground, Good Success were bowled out for 123 in 19.3 overs in difficult conditions due to early morning showers.
Shoaib Namaz and Samsudeen Mohamed made 20 each, while Tulsieram Ramadeen got 17. Off-spinner Kennard Lewis claimed 2-12, fast bowler Leorayan Ramlakhan 2- 23 and Kim Persaud 2-31.
In reply, Maria’s Pleasure were undermined by some excellent bowling from off-spinner Nazeer Mohamed and medium pacer Wazir Khan as they folded for 96 in 15.4 overs. Mohamed finished with 2-10, while Wazir Khan had 2-12 and David Chalitar 2-29. Ramlakhan and Leonard Lewis made 20 apiece.
The competition continues on Sunday with Sans Souci playing Sans Souci Jaguars at 09:30hrs and G- Square Cavaliers facing Maria’s Pleasure 13:30hrs.
