Following a tough 98-mile ride on Sunday last, cyclists are now aligning their pedals for this Saturday’s Laparkan Holdings National Park 11-Race cycle programme which is organised by Hassan Mohamed.
The usual 11-races will be on the programme with the feature school boys and invitational set to attract the cream of the crop. Junior Niles, the nation’s leading Under-50 veteran will be in his saddle to defend last year’s feature race trophy but will have to contend with the younger brigade of riders who have been consistently putting their hands up.
The likes of Alanso Ambrose, Jamal John, Andrew Hicks, Paul De Nobrega, Romello Crawford, Mario King and Curtis Dey among others.
A new junior/juvenile winner will be crowned as winner of last year’s 10-lap contest; Briton John is currently in the USA training ahead of the World Championships.
Lennox Jackman won the Over-50 race last year while Hosea Macullay won the mountain bike event.
Laparkan Holdings Human Resource (HR) Manager, Ms. Lynette Shivlochan is expected to be on hand to assist with the presentation of trophies and other prizes on Saturday.
