The Rose Hall Town Anniversary and Development Organisation (RHTA&DO) in collaboration with the Flying Ace Cycling Club (FACC) will run off a 40-mile road race in observation of the 47th nniversary of the town.
The race which will attract only cyclists from Berbice is slated for Sunday this Sunday pedaling off at 10:00hrs from the Anamayah Memorial Hospital at Hampshire, Corentyne Berbice, proceeds to #51 Police Station, before finishing at the junction of the Rose Hall Town Independence Arch.
The first five cyclists to cross the finish line will be rewarded as will the top two juveniles and females.
A number of sponsors are already board including Lewis General Store, Churches Chicken, Lucky Dollar Store, Circuit Center General Store, Balram Shane General Store, Wynette’s Beauty Salon, Home Line Furnishing, Touch of Class Boutique and Anamayah Memorial Hospital among others.
