Dear Editor,
Myself, family and about six visitors from abroad witnessed the match Warriors vs Tallawahs at the Guyana National Stadium. It was enjoyable with almost the full capacity on a hot Thursday evening. Warriors lost due to poor batting reply. But I must mention boldly that THE MANAGEMENT FOR THE STADIUM NEEDS TO DO BETTER. Here is why;
1. Security scanning at the entrance is imperative.
2. All the seats we occupied were full of dirty stuff; very shameful to me taking my visitors, had to roll out paper towels to cleaned.
3. The staff employed to oversee spectators get their right seats should be more visible for help.
4. The Score Board of the western side of the ground need to have functional lights for spectators to follow the match.
5. Parts of the field is slowing up the ball, this is due to the style of cutting and rolling, needs to done better.
6. Too much of vendors selling in stands, obstructing the spectators from viewing the match.
I do hope all the above will be corrected before a next series.
