Police on the Essequibo Coast are currently conducting an investigation into the death of a 23 year old saw man. The deceased who was identified as Kevin Fredricks of Wakapow, Lower Pomeroon, is said to have been employed with Clinton Alphonso.
It was reported that sometime around 11:15 hrs yesterday, Fredricks was cutting trees, when one fell and struck him, resulting in serious injuries to his feet, left arm and lower back. The injured man was rushed to the Charity Hospital by his uncle. Doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
