Nuff people frighten because dem don’t know how de day gun end. People go to pay light bill and dem nearly get shoot. Yesterday, a woman wake up good but before de sun really raise she man kill she. De man run after he kill de woman and before de sun go down he too dead.
A woman lef she house soon morning. She didn’t even reach cross de road before she dead. And because of de fear, people scared to think about wha gun happen when de oil start to come up. De future so uncertain.
Dem boys does see everything wha happening. Dem see how ExxonMobil pay money into people private account instead of de treasury and dem frighten de same thing gun happen in Guyana. Dem wonder if some of de Ministers gun cut deals wid ExxonMobil behind Soulja Bai back.
Imagine Soulja Bai send five of dem to Texas to talk to ExxonMobil. He believe that everybody gun keep an eye pun de other suh everybody gun be honest. What he don’t know is all it tek is one rotten Minister to spoil de whole group.
But dem boys still hoping that Soulja Bai running a tight ship and that he want to stay far from corruption. Just yesterday ee people at de Housing Ministry do wha never done. Dem ketch one of de officer who was mekking money from state property. He was selling house lots.
Tonight he sleeping in jail and whatever money he mek he got to pay lawyer, suh he ain’t even getting de money he siphon off from de government. And he can’t beg nobody to talk to Soulja Bai to save him, because de man don’t get involve in things like that.
When Jagdeo stop being President he build a mansion. He still can’t tell people wheh de money come from. Dem boys want to know if Soulja Bai can ever build a mansion when he stop being president. But put that aside, dem boys want to know wha really happening wid ExxonMobil.
Talk half but try to avoid being frighten all de time.
