Demerara Cricket Club will be hosting a cricket camp starting on August 7 for males and females between the ages of 7-17.
The 15-day camp will commence at 09:00hrs and conclude at 15:00hrs each day.
The Programme involves lectures on various topics on cricket, fitness, drills, game simulations and matches.
Participants will also be exposed to the basics of batting, bowling, wicket-keeping, fielding, development of skills, mental skills training, discipline, goal setting, tactical awareness as well as captaincy and leadership skills.
Youths will be placed in groups according to their age and skill level and can contact club captain Dennis Squires on 665-7400, Garvin Nedd on 617-9381, Mark Harper on 611-0735, 678-9973 for information on registration.
Sessions will be conducted by Travis Dowlin, Nedd, Mark Harper, Reon King and Orin Bailey.
