Twenty-five (25) teams drawn from the West Bank and West Demerara will battle each other today at the Uitvlugt Community Centre ground from 08:00hrs when competition in the GTT sponsored Tapeball tournament continues.
Like the East Coast and Georgetown Zones, the latter receiving overwhelming response which will see play continuing tomorrow at the National Park Tarmac from 09:00hrs, play today will be intense as team aim to outdo each other in their quest to make it to the final; over $350,000 is at stake.
Meanwhile, following are some of the results from the East Coast Zone competition on July 15th:
The winners are the teams qualifying for the national playoffs.
Doosan Vipers 80- 3 hammered Warriors 49-3
Modern Media 64-4 squeezed past Spartans 58-3
Rising Stars 80-2 defeated New Horizon 71-1
Enmore Stars 134-0 walloped Goran Gladiators 58-4
