Two persons have been arrested following the discovery of 95 kilograms of suspected cocaine in a boat that was travelling in the Pomeroon River.
The individuals were held on Monday and are presently being questioned by ranks from the Customs Anti Narcotics Unit (CANU).
In a release, the drug agency said that the vessel is currently being processed. No charges have been filed as yet.
