This thing did start like joke and of course, people use to laugh when some of dem boys seh that de colonial days come back. In de colonial days dem white people use to ignore de locals. Dem never use to tell de people nutten and when anybody ask question de answer never come. Instead, de colonial people use to ignore everybody.
It was bad till Guyana get independence and start to paddle its own canoe. People start to ask dem leaders question just like how dem use to ask de white people and when de leaders didn’t answer de people use to cuss dem.
Dem boys notice that de same thing starting to happen again. De leaders refusing to answer certain questions. In de Jagdeo government he and Brassington use to claim confidentiality clause. Everything was a secret. Soulja Bai people learn from that and de people gone back to hearing bout de confidentiality clause.
Some white people come to drill fuh oil and dem bring de same attitude that de old time white people had. Dem arrogant and dem eyes pass people.
Yesterday de Ministry of Communities invite some reporters fuh a session at Pegasus. De ExxonMobil people was part of de session. As soon as dem see de reporters dem start to holler how no reporter should have been invited. Dem boys seh dem behave like when ol’ higue see manicole broom.
Dem don’t want no session to have to answer question. Dem boys notice that since ExxonMobil come dem never meet wid de press and dem got some people who siding wid dem. Jagdeo done seh he don’t care wha dem do in other country. De shaat man seh de same thing. Suh it lef to dem boys to protect Guyana by showing all de things that ExxonMobil do all over de world.
Imagine these people telling dem boys in a smartie way that nobody should question dem.
Well dem got a lot of forum yet and dem boys advising all of dem to hide because everywhere dem go dem boys gun ask question.
