Johnny ‘Overseas’ Barnwell, Kevin Walcott, Wesley ‘Tiger’ Tyndal and Rodwell have organised, on behalf of the South Turkeyen Sports Committee & Bannas Foundation, a five-a-side small goal and penalty shot-out and Dominoes competition tomorrow at the Jubilee Park as part of President’s David Granger 72nd Birthday Celebrations.
The action starts at 09:00hrs and also include a six overs Tapeball cricket competition for teams in the area. Entrance fee is $6,000 per team and seven players are allowed.
Among the teams expected to vie for top honors are Lodge, North Sophia, Sophia BCD Fields, Vryheid’s Lust and Meadow Bank.
Trophies were donated by P&P Insurance Brokers, NSC, Tent City, Trophy Stall Bourda Market and Mr Zaman Ali. Snacks and Drinks will be on sale.
