At least one man vex because de Waterfalls paper exposing ExxonMobil, how scampish they are. Jagdeo, that scamp, bring dem in de first place to see if Guyana got oil. When dem find he sign an agreement fuh one per cent royalty.
De agreement still secret. Nobody don’t know how much Jagdeo collect or yet to collect fuh that one per cent deal.
De new boys tek over and de people find more oil. Right away Trotty seh one per cent can’t wuk, suh de people deliver two.
Now that got dem boys wondering how much bribe pass in de first deal, because knowing that company, anything is possible. And is not dem boys seh that. Other countries wha dem deh in, seh suh.
This company like to go to oil-rich countries that are corrupt, have non-transparent governments and are unstable.
Dem corrupt nuff government officials and carrying away all de people’s wealth from inside each country.
Dem boys expect de exact thing gun happen here and dem sounding de warning bells early fuh all Guyana to hear. This country got its share of corrupt politicians. Only de other day some of dem was de rulers. When ExxonMobil come, nobody didn’t know. Is only Jagdeo and he kavakamites did know.
Some of dem in this new govt behaving just like Jagdeo. One of dem vex wid de Waterfalls paper fuh exposing ExxonMobil. De things he seh mek dem boys believe ExxonMobil is either he child or ee wife. He don’t want nobody seh nutten bad about that scampish oil giant.
He upset that de Waterfalls paper exposing everything, and he got de nerve to seh wha ExxonMobil do in another country ain’t got nutten to do wid Guyana.
Dem boys seh nuff people does boast how dem don’t mek de same mistake twice. That same shaat fella who upset that dem boys exposing scampish Exxon seh he don’t mek de same mistake twice. He does mek it like five or six times, you know, just to be sure is a mistake.
