Dear Editor,
It is admirable that the APNU+AFC Government of President David Granger is trying to reduce the level of corruption in Guyana. This can be seen by the launch of the audits which some describe as a witch-hunt, as the approach seems to be only targeting political opponents. This top-down approach is welcome. However, more needs to be done to tackle corruption and as such a multi-prong approach is needed. That is, tackle corruption at the top, bottom and at every level of Guyanese society.
