Following five weeks of competitive basketball in the Georgetown Extended Regionals of the National Schools Basketball Festival (NSBF) at Cliff Anderson’s Sports Hall, Youth Basketball Guyana (YBG) is announcing a three-week tournament break.
According to a press release from YBG, the break is to accommodate student athletes writing the Caribbean Secondary Examination Council (CSEC), and Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Exam (CAPE). The tournament will resume on June 2.
Following the resumption of the competition, it will continue through June 30, with Regional and Playoffs. The 12th Edition of the NSBF will be played from July 1 to 10. The tournament is sponsored by Edward B. Beharry Group of Companies Ltd and the National Sports Commission.
