Following last Sunday’s rescheduling of the competition owed to unrelenting rain that inundated the ground, organisers have recommitted to completing all events as planned with the same prize monies this Sunday at the same venue.
The relays this year include the 4×100 (Male and Female); 4×400 (Male and Female); 4x200m Mixed Relay; 4x400m Mixed Relay; Sprint Medley Females (100m,100m, 200m, 400m); Sprint Medley Males (100m, 200m, 400m, 800m); Distance Medley Females (2400m) (400m, 600m, 600m, 800m) and the Distance Medley Males (2800m) (400m, 600m, 600m, 1200m).
A total of $500,000 will be handed out in 10 relays on Sunday with the winners going home with $25,000, second place finishers $15,000 and third place $10,000. The hope of completing all the events and handing out all prize monies was one of the main reasons the organisers decided early last Sunday morning to push back to this Sunday.
In addition the event is also touting a five-a-side small-goal football competition, featuring some of the top teams: Agricola Champion Boys, Sparta Boss, West Front Road, Broad Street Bullies, Back Circle, Bent Street, Sophia, Camp Street All-Stars and Police.

In the male cricket showdown, Trophy Stall Masters will also play Boyce/Jefford All-Stars that features the West Indies and Guyana all-rounder, Christopher Barnwell and Guyana all-rounder, Lennox Cush, bowler Trevor Benn among others.
