In an effort to provide more sporting and recreational facilities, Togetherness Park owned and operated by East International Enterprise is offering Organisers and Promoters the Liliendaal location to stage softball cricket
competitions, football or any other field discipline.
The spacious facility located a short distance from the Ocean View Hotel on the southern side of the Highway can comfortably accommodate a large quantity of vehicles and also house over one thousand spectators at any given time.
According to Manager Leslie Black, the facility is ideally located minutes away from central Georgetown, adding that among the other conveniences is the easy access to transportation in the absence of personal transport.
Pointing to the recent Easter Holiday as a reference, Black informed that the name was conceived due to the overwhelming support he received from all ethnic groups and organisations, adding that he is determined to offer the venue to all and sundry.
“This facility is not reserved for selective ethnic groups or organisations, but for all and I’m appealing to persons and organisations interested in renting the facility to make contact with us on tele# 673-8829 for more information,” Black said.
Apart from having the capability to stage sporting events, he said the facility will soon be offering families and organisations the opportunity to enjoy a breezy and relaxing atmosphere under the numerous tents and soon to be installed pools, especially for the enjoyment of the kids.
With the Atlantic Ocean situated on the northern side of the Park, it provides a scenic view of the huge body of water and bountiful breeze to relax the mind and body, making the location an ideal getaway for families and organisations located outside the City.
Kaieteur Sport was afforded a firsthand opportunity to view the Park on Easter Monday and the colorful atmosphere and intermingling that was observed makes the Park an attractive choice for Fun Days, sports or just a day for the family to unwind.
