The Guyana Jaguars enters its final round of the Digicel WICB Regional Four Day PCL from tomorrow, Friday 21st April, 2017, against Leeward Islands at the National Stadium – Providence. The Jaguars currently enjoys an unattainable lead over its opponents; as such has already secured the championship trophy and triple crown honors – having won the first three WICB Regional 4 Day Professional Cricket League.
While the Guyana Jaguars look forward to lifting the trophy at the end of the final round, they will certainly be seeking to finish on a high with a win against the Leeward Islands.
The Guyana Cricket Board yesterday released the Jaguars squad for the final round contest. Leon Johnson is the Captain, while Veerasammy Permaul has been recommended for Vice Captain. Notable, Shimron Hetmyer and Vishaul are not in the squad after earning West indies call ups, while Raymon Reifer is back after Windies ‘A’ Team duties against Pakistan.
