Khan is an internationally certified business consultant and the current Chief Executive Officer of the Masterclass Institute and SocialRank Media. He was selected for the FranklinCovey license based on his transformational work with small and medium enterprises in Guyana.
FranklinCovey is a global company specializing in performance improvement, specifically helping organizations and individuals achieve results that require a change in human behaviour. It is also a publicly-traded company listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
The company has global expertise in seven core areas; leadership, execution, productivity, trust, sales performance, customer loyalty and education. Their world class training has been provided to clients that include 90 percent of the Fortune 100, more than 75 percent of the Fortune 500, thousands of small and mid-sized businesses, as well as government entities and educational institutions. Some of their clients include the Marriott, Copa Airlines, Microsoft, FedEx, HSBC, Virgin, Sony, and Maersk.
Additionally, FranklinCovey has more than 100 direct and partner offices providing professional services in over 150 countries and territories. More than 100 million people worldwide are benefitting from their accredited programmes and tools.
As their official local representative, Dr. Rosh Khan shared his thoughts and vision for FranklinCovey Guyana.
He said, “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Dr. Stephen Covey was the beginning of it all for me. That book sold over 30 million copies around the world and was dubbed ‘the business book of the century’. It transformed not only my company but my life. To now hold this license is an absolute honour and also a signal of the hard work ahead. At this pivotal moment in our country, we must build our capacity and step up in every way we can.”
Khan continued, “That level of transformation will not come from any one leader or organization. It needs to come from within us all. It must be inside-out. How we achieve this is documented in the timeless, proven, and character-driven principles of FranklinCovey’s programmes.”
He added, “They are the very principles that have transformed companies, launched movements, empowered public institutions, and educated over 100 million people around the world. If we are to be truly competitive as a country, we must empower our citizens with the right mindsets, skill sets, and toolsets. FranklinCovey Guyana looks forward to making its mark and doing its part for Guyana’s transformation.”
FranklinCovey Guyana will be launching its first public event in the coming weeks, aiming to educate members of public sector, private sector, and civil society on its transformational concepts and systems.
