The best of the West side is set to collude today at the Den Amstel Community Centre ground
when the Super 4 Massive Easter Football Fiesta is contested from 17:00hrs.
Den Amstel, Uitvlugt Warriors, Pouderoyen and Eagles United of Stewartville will be battling for close to $200,000 in cash and other incentives with fans also down to cash in big.
In the semi finals which would be contested using a 20/20 format, Eagles will open against Pouderoyen with this clash followed by what is anticipated to be a humdinger of a battle between home team Den Amstel and Uitvlugt Warriors.
The respective semi final winners will face off in the final over 80 minutes for the first place prize of $100,000 with the loser to pocket half that amount. The losers of the semis will face off in the third place match for 60 minutes and the winner will walk away with $20,000.
Individual prizes will be awarded to the best goalkeeper on show; Highest Goal Scorer and Best Young Player.
There will also be lost of giveaways for the fans including US$50.00. The National Sports Commission through its ‘Light it Up’ Initiative is on board a the lone sponsor of the event that is organized by the Super 4 Massive group – Alex Greene a former junior national player, Akantunde Rudder aka Rigget, Roger Miller and Miles Miller, all former residents of Den Amstel who have come together to give back not only to the community, but the association.
