Trophy Stall and other onboard
Over the years Pacesetters Banks DIH Limited has been doing as their name suggests,

setting the pace for others to follow. The Beverage giants have been contributing significantly to almost every sphere of Guyana’s Development either directly or in a supporting role.
Sports, education and community development have taken a significant portion of the company funds. The company has by far being the top supporter of Horse Racing, the Sport of Kings, in Guyana and continues to do so.
The Guyana Cup Fever which is one of the premiere horseracing events in Guyana has attracted a significant amount of sponsorship from the Beverage Company.
The event which is set for this Sunday (Easter Sunday) at the Port Mourant” big yard” Turf Club, Corentyne, Berbice is organised by the Jumbo Jet Business Conglomerate in Collaboration with the Port Mourant Turf Club.
With entries closing on Wednesday last, reports are that close to 80 horses have been entered for the mega $8M horse race meet.
Banks DIH Limited will be sponsoring the feature B and lower 1900M event for a first prize of $1M and the Banks DIH Trophy. Mr. Errol Nelson Manager of the Powerade & Well-J brand and Ms. Shenisa Fredericks, a Trainee Manager, made the presentation to Coordinator Nazruddin ‘Jumbo Jet’ Mohamed Jnr and Organising Committee Member Compton Sancho yesterday of the prize for that event.
The Trophy Stall also continues to lend yeoman service to local sports and as has been the case for many years now, Proprietor Ramesh Sunich and his business continues to support sports and in this case horseracing. A Rep of the Trophy Stall made their presentation to Mr Sancho for the meet.

Other entities on board are the Shariff Racing Stable, Chris Jagdeo Racing Stable, Rising Sun Turf Club and the Vault Night Club of Bush Lot, West Coast Berbice.
Most of the top runners in the country have been entered for that main Banks DIH sponsored event and an exhilarating race is expected. Princess She Not is the name being mentioned at the top of the list, but will have its work cut out with the others entered. With the likes of CP Got Even, Lady Budapest, Brave Sky, Golden Blue Echo, Just Call Me Boss, Spit Fire, Jack In My Style, Keep on Swinging, Climate Change and Kazi Azaria in the lineup fans could not ask for more.
Most of the lineups have also been complete for the other events and scintillating stuff is anticipated. The other events on the days card are the –event for E3 and lower West Indies bred non earners for 2016 and 2017 and E3 US and Canadian bred non earners for 2016 and 2017 for $600,000 and trophy over 1200M.
The 4-year-old West Indies bred and G3 and lower event over 1200M which incidentally the distance for all the other events.
The race for animals classified H3 and lower. The event for 3 years old Guyana bred and horses classified ‘I’ 1 and lower. The race for Guyana bred three years old maiden horses. There is the event for animals classified J2 and K and the L and lower event.
A number of added attractions and giveaways and incentives including free kites will be given away on race day.
Free programmes will be made available to patrons and fans, while Banks DIH Limited will be having on the spot promotions.
