Dear Editor,
I refer to your report “$1B wind-powered hotel opens doors in Corriverton.”
With respect, your headline needed fine tuning in that the hotel is NOT a wind-powered hotel. Quote “The government wants us to go green and clean; we are the first persons to get a wind turbine. Over a year now we are not getting any response or approval to have it running.” So there as per your article, the wind turbine is not yet operational! More importantly, I was somewhat annoyed to read that a year has passed by and the government cannot give approval for the wind turbine to be operational. Is this a hand-down from the PPP government? Everybody then knew that once the palms are greased, it’s hunky-dory smooth sailing. My tentacles are aroused and I have my own opinion as to what is happening, so much so that I would not be surprised that I have the right opinion when all is completed and everyone is happy. What’s that? ‘Those who do not remember the past are bound to repeat it.”
