The Guyana selectors have named the 14-member squad to represent the country in St. Vincent and the Grenadines from Sunday to Monday May 1 in the West Indies Cricket Board’s Women’s Super50 competition.
Guyana face the Windward Islands on April 20, Trinidad and Tobago on April 22, Barbados on April 24, Leeward Islands on April 26 and Jamaica on April 28. The final is slated for Sunday April 30 between the two top teams. Guyana squad: Melaine Henry (Wicket-keeper), June Ogle, Shemaine Campbelle (Vice-captain), Katana Mentore, Shabika Gajnabi, Heema Singh, Tremayne Smartt (Captain), Akaze Thompson, Plaffiana Millington, Subrina Munroe, Erva Giddings, Mandy Mangru, Lashuna Toussaint and Kaysia Shultz.
The Manager is Carol Nurse and Coach is Andre Percival.
