During the opening of tenders at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), tenders were open for the design of a new sanitary landfill at Bartica.
A financial proposal was submitted by ESP. Services Incorporated in association with Caribbean Engineering and Management Company Incorporated. The bid price was announced at USD$175,902 + $10.7M.
Mahaica/Mahaicony/Abary Agriculture Development Authority (MMA/ADA) is the procuring entity for Consultancy Services for the Design of the New D’Edward Village sluice, West Coast Berbice.
SRKN’gineering is the sole bidder for this project with a bid price of $13.9M.
The Guyana Energy Agency (GEA) is the procuring entity for the supply and installation of one 6.0 kW Hybrid Solar system.
Bids were submitted for the execution of Geotechnical surveys from Columbia to Reliance, Essequibo Coast Region Two (Pomeroon/Supenaam). The procuring entity is the Ministry of Agriculture.
The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) is the procuring entity for two contracts.

The Office of the Prime Minister was listed as the procuring entity for specialised equipment for the Bartica Radio, Region Seven (Cuyuni/Mazaruni). No bids were submitted for this project.
The Prime Minister’s Office was also listed as the procuring entity for specialised equipment for the Mahdia Radio Station, Region Eight (Upper Takatu/Upper Essequibo).
Telecommunications Systems Development was the sole bidder for this project with a bid price of $ 3.3M.
The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) is the procuring entity for the rehabilitation of office space for the authority at the second floor of the Guyana Post Office (GPO) building.
The GRA was also listed as the procuring entity for the construction of a guard hut and chain-link fence at the entity’s Railway Embankment parking lot.
The Ministry of Public Infrastructure was listed as the procuring entity for several projects including the procurement of 14,000 meters of geo grid. Ming’s Products and Services is the sole bidder for this project with a bid price of $25.3M.
Tenders were also scheduled to be opened for the Sheriff Street/Mandela Avenue Enhancement Project (Lots Six to Seven) however, the opening was cancelled. The submission date was extended to May 2 of this year.
Finally, under the Public Infrastructure Ministry, tenders were open for the milling of asphalt concrete at Canal Number One and Two Polder, Region Three (Essequibo Islands/West Demerara).
South Caribbean Distributors was the sole bidder with a proposed sum of $10M for the delivery; installation and testing of spray booths for the Government and the Leonora Technical Institutes. The procuring entity is the Ministry of Education.
Bids were also submitted for the supply, delivery and installation of testing equipment for the Leonora Technical Institute.
Tenders were submitted for the procurement of vehicles for the Education Ministry. This contact was divided into four lots.
Bids were submitted for the supply, delivery and installation of masonry equipment for the New Amsterdam Technical Institute.
Southland Caribbean Distributors with a bid price of $2.4M was the sole bidder for the supply, delivery and installation of solar panels for the National Library.
Finally, tenders were open for the supply, delivery, installation and testing for Secondary Competency Certificate Programmes (SCCP) equipment.
Expressions of Interest (EoI) were submitted for the rental of office Building, Ministry of Legal Affairs.
Tenders were also submitted for the supply and delivery of four reconditioned vehicles for the Supreme Court of Justice
