The former National Sports Council Chairman, Joseph ‘Reds’ Perreira will be the guest speaker at Moray House tomorrow, Monday April 10, commencing at 18:00hrs.
The well-known West Indies cricket commentator will be focusing on sport in Guyana prior to independence and to present ideas on how Guyana can even better perform and make an impact on the Regional, Pan American and World stage.
Perreira, who was once president of the Guyana Basketball Association and coach to the Santos Football Club, will be sharing ideas on the needs to strengthen administration, to make national bodies stronger and the effective use of sporting infrastructure.
It is his hope that the working press will attend along with a cross section of Guyanese who follow sport in Guyana.
