Dem boys notice that some people mekking big fuss over paying tax pun de tuition fee. Like dem believe dem can go anywhere else and send dem children to private school and don’t pay de tax, dem lie.
Private schools in North America and even around de world does have to pay dem taxes to de government. Once services is being rendered and money passing people have to pay dem dues.
De big argument in Guyana is people sending dem children to private school, have money to pay de teachers and de school but crying to pay de tax.
De answer is simple, if you don’t want pay any tax, send de children back to public schools or keep dem home. You can also bring de teacher home.
Dem boys notice that de same people who complaining about paying de tax pun de tuition fee don’t complain to pay de taxes when dem go to private hospitals. In fact, dem does pay fuh everything.
In de real world you pay de taxes on de quality of goods and services rendered. Tek for example one man bring in a motorbike and pay $40,000 in taxes. Another man bring in a bicycle and de govt seh bicycle is free of taxes.
Dem who don’t want to pay de tax on de tuition fees believe that dem have de right to refuse to ride bicycle just like how dem got to right to refuse to send dem pickney to public school and public hospital.
But dem want to bring in and ride a fancy motorbike and don’t pay no taxes.
Dem boys seh if you can afford to pay teachers and pay de private school you can pay de taxes. Is de same thing you does do when you go to private hospital. You pay fuh even de cotton wool.
If you pay for an ad in de paper, you got to pay tax pun it. If you pay fuh a fancy chair set anywhere, not only Courts, you got to pay de tax. Is de same thing wid a fridge and de same thing wid all de private school.
Talk half and if you don’t want to pay de tax on de fridge, de chair set and de ad, stick wid wha you got. In de case of de school, go back to public.
