The Athletics Association of Guyana (AAG) was handed the rights to host the South American
Under-20 Championships, which will be held at the National Track and Field Centre at Leonora on the West Coast of Demerara, June 3-4.
“This confirmation came at the Consudatle Congress being held in Sao Paulo Brazil. Members of the South American Competition Committee will be visiting Guyana shortly to inspect and assist in the preparation of the Championship,” a short press release from AAG President, Aubrey Hutson stated yesterday.
