The top four clubs of the West Demerara Football Association (WDFA) is set to clash on Easter
Sunday night, April 16th at the Den Amstel Community Centre in the Super 4 Massive Promotions organised annual football fest.
This year’s action will see the invited clubs, Uitvlugt Warriors, Den Amstel, Pouderoyen and Eagles Football Clubs competing for the right to earn a top prize of $100,000, 2nd place of $50,000 and 3rd of $20,000.
According to Super 4 Massive, the WDFA has already given its blessings for what they are confirming would be a memorable evening for players and fans alike.
The teams would be invited to a draw where they will pull their opponent for the preliminary 20/20 semi final format. The respective losers will then clash in a 60 minutes third place match which would be followed by an 80 minute final.
Apart from trophies to the top two teams, individual prizes would be presented the Best Young Player, Best Goalkeeper and Highest Goal Scorer. Super 4 Massive has indicated that this is their way of giving back towards the development of the sport in the WDFA.
The Super 4 Massive group is made up of four cousins, Alex Greene, Akantunde Rudder aka Rigget, Roger Miller and Miles Miller.
