Justin Nedd, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GTT) on Saturday cut the ribbon to officially open another of the company’s modern rebranded retail customer experience store
at its Camp and Robb Street location.
Nedd, in his speech to the public, stated that the reason for opening another branch was to continue fulfilling its “Do More” campaign promise to its customers – providing more services and easier business transactions.
This new location is the fourth of its kind the company has opened since late 2015. Speaking in front of a huge gathering the CEO, Nedd, said that “the company offers prices that are better than the competition and GTT customers can expect even more beneficial surprises in the coming months.”
Nedd further highlighted that the furniture and much of the other fixtures in the store were locally manufactured, which demonstrates GTT’s support for the local manufacturing industry.
During the opening programme customers who purchased a Smartphone were given another Smartphone free, plus one month free data and a gift.
Children and other customers in the store were afforded the opportunity to spin the wheel and win prizes like umbrellas etc.
The members of the press were also given one week free data.
Customers can buy any of GTT services at the location and also pay their landline and DSL bills.
The store opens Mondays to Fridays, 08:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs and from 08:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs on Saturdays.
