Mazaruni Wharf, M.V Malali, Morawhanna Stelling to be rehabilitated
During the opening of tenders at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) yesterday, contractors submitted bids for the contract to rehabilitate the Mazaruni Wharf and dockyard; the docking and rehabilitation of the M.V Malali; and the rehabilitation of the Morawhanna Stelling.
The Transport and Harbours Department (T&HD), was listed as the procuring entity for these contracts.

Tenders were also opened for the supply poles, cross arms and line Hardware for the Lethem Power Company Incorporated. The procuring entity is the Hinterland Electrification Company Limited.
Bids were submitted for the docking and rehabilitation of the ML Thompson Mazaruni. The procuring entity is the Maritime Administration Department (MARAD). The engineer’s estimate was announced at $40.6M
The Department was also listed as the procuring entity for the docking and rehabilitation of MT Aruka at the Mazaruni Dockyard. The engineer’s estimate was announced at $41.3M.
Tenders were also opened for the supply and delivery of blood banking test kits. The procuring entity is the Ministry of Health.
The Health Ministry was also listed as the procuring entity for the supply and delivery of blood bags.
Finally, under health contracts, tenders were open for the supply and delivery of consumables for the National Blood Transfusion Services (NBTS).
The National Drainage and Irrigation Authority (NDIA) of the Ministry of Agriculture, was listed as the procuring entity for nine contracts.

Repairs to the NDIA building at Den Amstel, West Coast Demerara:
For the excavation of the Eversham outfall, Corentyne Berbice, Region Six:
The excavation of the Number 51/52 outfall also is Region Six:
The excavation of the Adventure outfall in Berbice:
Finally, under the NDIA, bids were submitted for the repairs to the building located at Flagstaff, East Demerara Water Conservancy Region Four.
