Feb 21, 2017 Letters
Dear Editor,
This is my first letter to you. Best wishes to all for the New Year. The reason for writing is that whilst viewing the TV during our family time (about 4.50pm), I tuned in to Channel 14, and the programme, “Getting It Right” was on, hosted by Bheri Ramsarran (MP). Mr. Editor, Hell broke loose listening to this gentleman. First he seems to be heading mentally in another direction. His language and stares are not easy to describe.
I will never forgive and forget what he said to a caller. He called the Senior Counsel, Honorable Basil William, a senior (deleted) and a stupid (deleted); he told the caller these terms are what Senior Counsel means. My God! Help our country! How can a MP do such a thing? This MP had insulted women in this country; I refer to the charge for his conduct against Ms. Sherlina Najeer. The PPP should have dismissed him but they held on to him to do their dirty programme. After he was finished with the AG, he turned to the Red House issue and he said the Honorable Volda Lawrence was there attacking the supporters of the PPP and you know what he called the Minister? He changed Volda into another word that was terrible.
If there is any doubt to this letter, let the relevant authority get the recording of the programme. I am calling on the Opposition Leader and General Secretary to get this man fired; he must be dismissed immediately. They must do so to save further embarrassment. I prefer not to use my name. I am from Enterprise
