A man, who allegedly killed an accomplice, is on trial for the capital offence in Berbice.
Ronald Fraser, 28, called ‘Alay’ of Liverpool Village, Corentyne, Berbice is accused of murdering Quacy Gray who was 26 years old at the time. He hailed from Lot 20 Manchester Village, Corentyne, Berbice. The incident occurred on Friday December 16, 2011.
Fraser, who is being represented by state appointed attorney-at- law, Sasha Roberts, is on trial before Justice James Bovell Drakes and a mixed jury in Berbice High Court.
After the jury was empaneled the indictment was read by attorney at law Prosecutor, Orinthia Schmidt, and the matter was adjourned to February 16.
