Dear Editor,
Suddenly the AFC has lost its voice in the scheme of things in Guyana. Things that Nagamoottoo and Ramjattan would have railed about are suddenly acceptable to them. Drug bonds fiasco, Harmon’s unexplained trip to China, undemocratic parking meter decision for Georgetown (this is most telling as the AFC’s Sherod Duncan is being hung out to dry), scholarships for ministers. Now Ramjattan is seeking a third term maybe because he is getting milk in his tea courtesy of the PNC. I do not know if it is condensed milk, full cream or evaporated but like the milk has damaged his conscience and that of Nagamoottoo’s who seems only too happy with touring the world but abandoning the 10% that he courted and which helped APNU to get power.
