The National Procurement and Tender Administrative Board (NPTAB), yesterday, opened a number of tenders for rehabilitation and construction works, at Ministry of Finance, Main Street, Georgetown.
The Ministry of Public Infrastructure was listed as the procuring entity for the repairs to culverts at Vlissengen Road and Carifesta Avenue. The bids are as follows. The engineer’s estimate for the project is $142.7M.
The Ministry of Public Infrastructure was also the procuring entity for a number of constructions of sea and river defences structures within Regions Two to Six. The projects amounted to sixteen lots which are as follows.
Lot 1: Construction of Rip Rap River defences at Elizabeth Ann, Leguan Island Region Three. The engineer’s estimate is $83.3M.
Lot 2: Construction of Rip Rap River Sea Defences at Better Hope/Andrews, Essequibo Coast, Region Two – Phase One. The engineer’s estimate is $73.1M.
Lot 3: Upgrading of sea defence along Cane Garden, Leguan Island Region Three. The engineer’s estimate is $35.3M.
Lot 4: Construction of Rip Rap River defences at Domburg, Wakenaam Island Region Three – Phase Two. The engineer’s estimate is $53.2M.
Lot 5: Construction of Rip Rap defence at Maria Johanna, Wakenaam Island Region Three –phase two. The engineer’s estimate is $28.7M.
Lot 6: Construction of Rip Rap River defence Melville/San Souci, Wakenaam Island Region Three- phase one. The engineer’s estimate is $55.3M.
Lot 7: Construction of Rip Rrap river sea defence at Zeelandia, Wakenaam Region Three. The engineer’s estimate is $37.1M.
Lot 8: Construction of Rip Rap river defences at Parika, East Bank Essequibo, Region Three – phase one. The engineer’s estimate is $53.5M.
Lot 9: Construction of Rip Rap River Sea defences at Ruimzigt, West Coast Demerara, Region Three – phase three. The engineer’s estimate is $89.5M.
Lot 10: Construction of Rip Rap Sea defences at Waller’s Delight/Harlem, West Coast Demerara Region Three – phase three. The engineer’s estimate is $88.4M.
Lot 11: Construction of Rip Rap at Buxton, East Coast Demerara Region Four. The engineer’s estimate is $55.4M.
Lot 12: Construction of Rip Rap Sea defences at Cottage, Mahaicony Region Five –phase one. The engineer’s estimate is $49M.
Lot 13: Construction of boulder face protection works along Bush Lot/Maida, Corentyne Berbice Region Six. The engineer’s estimate is $82.5M.
Lot 14: Construction of timber revetment along New Forest, Canje River, Region Six. The engineer’s estimate is $29.2M.
Lot 15: Construction of timber revetment along Sheet Anchor, Canje River Region Six. The engineer’s estimate is $29.3M.
Lot 16: Construction of river defence structure at Crabwood Creek, Berbice Region Six. The engineer’s estimate is $22.8M.
The procuring entity for the construction of river defences along the Pomeroon River Bank, Charity Region Two – phase one, was the Ministry of Public Infrastructure. The engineer’s estimate is $133.2M.
The Guyana Water Incorporated was listed as the procuring entity for the rehabilitation to potable water wells Region Three Essequibo Islands, West Demerara. The engineer’s estimate for Lot 1 – $4.5M; Lot 2 – $5.6M; Lot 3 – $4M; Lot 4 – $5M and Lot 5 – $4.7M.
