Fifteen year old Alyiah Majeed, of 92 Section ‘A’ Sophia has gone missing. The teenager was last
seen entering a blue and white bus in Sophia last week Monday.
According to a relative, the young lady said she was going to see her mother in central Georgetown but she did not show up. At the time of her disappearance she was wearing a pair of brown short pants, a peach coloured ‘fine’ strapped top and a blue denim jacket.
She is a student of Queenstown Secondary School and has not attended school since it re-opened. The family is pleading with her to return home and promises that she will not be in trouble.
Her sister wants her to know that she and the family love her very much and they are all concerned for her.
The concerned sister said the 15-year-old called her on January 7, last, and enquired how her mother was doing and then disconnected the phone. She then made contact on Facebook and the older sister asked where she was, she replied that she did not know. When asked if she was okay and she also said she did not know.
