In the midst of joy and celebration there would be grief. A mother in the process of preparing a meal would experience pain. A child would suffer a kitchen disaster through no fault of the mother and despite warnings that children should not be in the vicinity of fires.

Desperation often leads to poor judgement. How else would one explain the efforts of two young criminals who would try to execute a robbery at a home that they think is easy picking?
A police patrol is often never far away, especially at this time. There will be a shooting and again tears will fall in the home of the hapless criminal.
**
One more road fatality would be recorded during this festive season. A speeding driver is going to crash into a parked object after swerving from an oncoming vehicle.
