Dec 20, 2016 Letters
Dear Editor,
Yesterday (Dec 16, 2016) I received a call from Donna Harcourt, she said her husband passed and saw the palm tree we planted in memory of their son had been destroyed. It was too ridiculous to be true. I told her I would go immediately to check it out. Editor, upon reaching Middle and Carmichael Streets, I was forced again to remember that the depravities of some in this society know no limits.
Twenty one months since the assassination of Courtney Crum-Ewing we’ve witnessed many acts of desecration – from the newly minted untouchables to the kangaroo courts to the chambers of the national assembly. These acts have not gone unnoticed. Which bring me to Frantz Omar Fanon, Martinique born Caribbean psychiatrist, philosopher, revolutionary, and writer.
