The Central Demerara Lions club on December 11, last, entertained over 300 children
at annual Christmas parties.
The first party at the Diamond Special Needs School saw pupils, staff and lions enjoying almost two hours of spontaneous jollification.
Following that event the Lions moved to their den at New Providence where hundreds of children, teachers and parents awaited the start of the main party. That party catered for primary school pupils from Craig, Grove, Diamond, Covent Garden, Providence, Peter’s Hall and Mocha with each school presenting interesting performances of drama, dance and poetry by pupils and teachers.
