De quarrel over de budget done. Everybody who had a mouth talk and dem talk long. Almost everybody talk bout de VAT and de tax, but nobody ain’t talk bout thiefing. De MPs didn’t see no need to talk bout that because as far as dem concern all who had to thief done thief already.
Tek Dr Nutten. Dem boys ain’t saying that he thief, but he end up in a loop. In fact he mek two people from de parliament walk behind him till to Albouystown. And he mek dem boys know who is a coward and who can tek on any crowd.
He also mek people know that Guyana can run out of condoms and lubricating jelly. Is now dem boys know wha happening to de country. It expose to more sex than it got people. De lubricating jelly is fuh some men who prefer to act as substitutes fuh women and de parliament got plenty of dem.
But dem boys seh every time dem got a budget dem got complaints. Is like no budget ever good but de country prospering. Jagdeo had a budget that a parliamentarian, Winston Murray, criticize till he dead.
Now Jagdeo criticizing Soulja Bai budget. Dem boys seh that he better watch he mouth. And now that de Finance Minister top up de pay dem public servants getting, dem ain’t got nobody who gun seh that is a bad budget.
De budget is not de only thing that got people talking. Christmas coming and dem still got blackout. This is de season when people does bun more light than at any time. Is fairy lights and icicle lights and street lights and Christmas trees in de streets.
In de old days people use to lef dem house to go and walk and see de lighting up and de trees. Nowadays when dem boys lef dem home dem got to guess which area got blackout and which tree got lights.
When de lights come back people does actually bun more current till de meter level off. That is why dem put VAT pun de light bill.
Dem boys remember de time when Sam throw de switch fuh light up a tree and blackout come same time. Since then, every time dem got a tree lighting de company does got a generator.
