Guyana’s Kaysan Ninvalle finished joint third place with Miguel Aguirre of Colombia last week at the World Hopes Training Camp in Peru. Ninvalle was among racket wielders from the region namely, Trinidad and Tobago’s duo, Priyanaka Khellawan, Jamali Mauge and Jamaica’s, Kelsey Davidson.
The World Hopes is one of the new projects of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Education and Training Programmes for young, talented players in the U-11 age group that have already showcased their abilities and skills in the international arenas and are aspiring candidates enroute to excellence.
The aim of the project is to promote and work with young, talented players for future success and growth. It is to also bridge the gap in the ITTF Athletes Development Model for the selected age category.
