Guyana retain male IGG volleyball title, Suriname rule female division

Guyana retained its male title, while Suriname won the female crown when the Inter Guiana Games (IGG) volleyball tournament concluded at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
Guyana’s male team clearly dominated their Surinamese counterparts winning the first two games 25-14, 25-17, 25-10 and 25-13,25-14,25-7. And as a result the organisers decided to call off the remaining game handing Guyana the title.
Suriname won the female crown after winning the first game 25-12, 25-12, 25-13 and the second 25-5, 25-21, 25-8 .
