Ann’s Grove finally secured their first win of the GFF/NAMILCO Thunderbolt Flour Power National Intra Association Under-17 League which continued this past weekend at the Golden Grove ground, East Coast Demerara.
Ann’s Grove defeated Buxton Stars 2-0 with the other game on Saturday producing a similar result for Plaisance Panthers over Buxton Youth Developers.
Yesterday at the same venue, Bachelor’s Adventure Paradise Sports Club thumped Victoria Kings 3-0, while Buxton United blanked BV Triumph United 4-0.
Ann’s Grove were led to victory by Graton Mentus and Shamar Brandon who scored in the 67th and 70th minute, respectively. Plaisance Panthers were led by Azandee King who netted from the penalty spot in the 9th minute, with the sealer coming from Keion Hamer in the 63rd minute.
Bachelors Adventure Paradise were led to yet another win thanks to goals from Teshawn Gordon in the 40th minute, Shemar Noel in the 50th minute and Colin Hendricks in the 70th minute.
Buxton United got their goals, a brace each from the consistent Kobe Durant (20th & 60th) and Isaiah Anderson (40th &75th).
