Toolsie Persaud Company Ltd, located on Lombard Street, Georgetown, yesterday donated a cheque for $303,200 to The Guyana Book Foundation, New Garden and Anira Streets, Queenstown, Georgetown.
The General Manager of the company, Ray Suknandan, handed over the cheque to the Administrative Coordinator of the book foundation, Deborah Ramator-Skeete.
The Guyana Book Foundation’s mission has always been to improve children’s literacy education, and will continue to do so in the future.
