Give some people an inch and dem gun tek a mile. That is wha happening now. Guyana give de company wha lengthening de airport runway a nice contract. De company promise to employ Guyanese people because de one that build de Marriott didn’t like Guyanese suh no local person coulda get wuk.
And dem had a fat slob who born in Guyana and who use to side wid Jagdeo to hustle state funds, tell this nation how de Chinee people at de Marriott right.
Anyhow, dem boys learn that de airport Chinee promise to give sub contract to Guyanese and of course, it had to tek all de sand from Guyana. But it had a plan fuh shaft Guyana. When Jagdeo people lose de elections de same contractor get more vex.
Dem boys did hear bout a plan to sabotage de economy fuh mek Soulja Bai look bad but dem didn’t know half of de story. Dem had one set off businessmen who cut down pun importing and then claim how business slow. Dem done had dem money in dem pocket so dem coulda cut some losses to hurt de government.
Is when this airport contractor announce how he bringing stone from Suriname. He want to squeeze de government. He know if he don’t buy stone from Guyana then dem quarry ain’t got wuk fuh dem Guyanese. This is de same company that announce how it gun want tons and tons of stone. Now de stone deh waiting and de people switch.
De one good thing is that de stone gun offload close to de river. But think of de cost to fetch stone from Suriname when Guyana got stone. This can only happen because de same fat slob didn’t sign that particular contract. De stone part had a loophole. In case Jagdeo get kick out buy stone from somewhere else and dem quarry people gun holler.
Dem boys want to know if Soulja Bai can’t intervene. He can’t tax de stone because it coming from a Caricom country but he can call in de people and threaten dem to do wha he do wid de other one that was working in de timber industry.
Talk half and watch how people spiteful.
