Joseph Glasgow, an employee of the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph (GTT) Company suffered a heart attack last night while he was coming into Guyana from New York on an international flight.
He had gone to the lavatory when he collapsed with the flight being about an hour out from the Cheddi Jagan International Airport.
Glasgow who resided in Victoria Village, ECD was taken to the Diamond Hospital by the Guyana Defense Force (GDF) ambulance. There, he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Glasgow had left Guyana two weeks ago with some of his relatives for a family vacation overseas. He was expected to return to work on September 19.
